Charles H. Heinen, 89, of 713 S. Mill St., died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Heinen was a retired tool and die maker for Marmon Harrington. He was also a mechanic in Waveland for several years. Mr. Heinen was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Fathers Auxiliary of VFW. Born Aug. 29, 1886, at Lafayette, he was the son of Peter and Maria Baum Heinen. He was married to Clydia Fletcher in 1914 at Lafayette. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anita Haskett of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Marjorie Davis of Rt. 1, Waveland, and Mary Cobert of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother and a sister. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry Ward officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Rosary services are scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
